The UX Inner Circle is a professional learning community with a program of monthly events for UX researchers and designers, managers, and directors practicing UX and Service Design. We are a small group of currently 50 UX and Service Designers, Directors, and Researchers currently 100% working in UX. Attendees come from orgs like Harvard, Google, IBM, Accenture, Deloitte, Capital One, US Bank, healthcare, government, and non-profits.
The majority of people joining the UX Inner Circle come from the following job titles or job situations:
- Senior UX designers
- Senior Managers
- Design directors
- UX Designers transitioning to management roles
- UX Researchers
- UX Designers
- New to UX- transitioning into the role
- Students of UX, practicing and studying eg Master’s program
The UX Inner Circle blends mentoring with peer learning. Frank Spillers facilitates interactive learning experiences leveraging his 25 years of experience as a Master Trainer.
The primary motivation for joining the UXIC is to sharpen core skills and practices. Many members have either received job promotions or have been praised at work for bringing core knowledge and guidance to their teams.
